This report provides an overview of the Bureau of Labor Statistics' latest labor force projections from 2004 to 2014. The Bureau revises its labor force projections every two years and develops its projections using a complex series of economic models that relate economic theory and behavior to the labor market and other economic data. Specific assumptions are also incorporated concerning the level of unemployment, exports and imports, consumer spending and other economic variables.
